Howell was 9 pounds back and sitting in 11th heading into the final day. Frankly, none of the pundits spoke about him having a shot to win the coveted Classic title. However, Howell was the hot hand of the day bringing in a limit weighing 29 pounds 2 ounces for a three-day total of 67 pounds 8 ounces. Certainly one of the most epic comebacks in pro bass fishing.

Evinrude pro Brett Hite is taking his momentum from an FLW Tour win and Top 10 finish earlier this season into the Bassmaster Elite Series event on Lake Seminole out of Bainbridge, GA. Heading onto the stage this afternoon with the theme music from the A-Team television show playing in the background, Hite weighed a limit weighing 20 pounds 11 ounces giving him a total of 45 pounds 6 ounces heading into Saturday.
Ranger Boats pro Brett Hite pulled out the whooping stick today, bringing in a limit weighing 26 pounds and 5 ounces for a three-day total of 71 pounds, 11 ounces.
A weather-shortened event didn't slow down Brett Hite. The Yamamoto pro continued his dominance over the pro bass scene during the early part of the regular season with a win today at Lake Seminole out of Bainbridge, GA. Scott Rhodes and Jeff Koester won the Spring Valley MWC with 26lbs 04oz. This was the first ever artificial only MWC walleye tournament.

Livingston Lures pro and Bassmaster Elite Series rookie, Jacob Powroznik, brought in a limit weighing 23 pounds 6 ounces to take over first place at the Elite Series event on Toledo Bend Reservoir out of Many, LA. Powroznik is heading into Saturday with a two-day total of 48 pounds 4 ounces.
Tommy Skarlis and Jeff Lahr win the Hastings MN MWC on the Mississippi today with 35-08. They caught their fish on a combination of Berkley Gulp products jigging and pulling cranks.
Abu Garcia Pro Justin Lucas heads into day four of the Toyota Texas Bass Classic in fourth place with with 68 pounds.

This fish was caught on Mille Lacs Lake during the 2014 Professional Musky Tournament Trail Qualifier. Joey Rozanski and Mark Gillich caught the 55.5''er on a Bull Dog and took second place in the tournament. The fish was the biggest musky caught in the history of the PMTT.

This muskie was caught by Ethan Roger and Robert Strand on Mille Lacs Lake in Minnesota while fishing the Professional Muskie Tournament Trail. The 53 incher earned them a third place finish in the tournament.

Casey Ashley wins 2015 Bassmaster Classic title. The 31-year-old South Carolina native, who has lived just a few miles from Lake Hartwell all his life, caught five bass that weighed 20 pounds, 3 ounces to cap a moving victory in the GEICO Bassmaster Classic on his home waters with a three-day total of 50-1.
J.T. Kenney of Palm Bay, Florida, brought a five-bass limit to the scale Thursday weighing 29 pounds, 14 ounces to vault to the top of the leaderboard on day one of the Walmart FLW Tour at Lake Toho presented by Mercury. Kenney will hold a 1-pound, 13-ounce lead heading into day two of the four-day event.

Ranger Boats Pro Dave Lefebre started the final day of the FLW Tour Event on Lewis Smith Lake over 8 pounds behind Day 3 leader Zack Birge. Birge stumbled and fell to second while Lefebre had a killer day with a limit weighing 19 pounds, 5 ounces for a total weight of 65-5 to capture the win.
