On Thursday, July 2, 2015, my hubby Marc and son Hunter went fishing with some family friends JP and his two sons Hunter (yes another Hunter) and Kiefer on Lake Nipissing. My son Hunter received a brand new rod from Bass Pro (Shakespeare combo) the Sunday before for having an improvement on his report card. Using a bottom bouncer and a worm, Hunter thought caught bottom when his rod was pulled under the boat. He then felt the pull of his rod and realized he had a fish. After a five minute fight, this 10 year old won with this beautiful pickerel/walleye. Measured at 27 in and weighing 7.5 lbs. Now to locate a taxidermist!
