Spring turkey hunting season is nearly here – how have you started to prepare for the season?

Things are changing in the world of turkey hunting — a sport that's more popular than ever before. Increased popularity has prompted the creation of new products designed to help hunters succeed in the woods.

The early morning gobble startled me as I drifted off. I'd been up since 4 a.m. and daylight was slow to arrive. I had brought a complete arsenal of calls that I owned — store bought and custom turkey calls — and had them at the ready for when that big boss gobbler hit the ground. I was dressed in camouflage from head to toe; even my shotgun was camouflaged.

Fall turkey hunting is not surrounded by the hype and glamour of the spring turkey hunting season.
